Why "Muck Boots & Mascara?"

Many of you have been curious about the name of my blog “Muck Boots & Mascara”.

Hate to disappoint but there is no fascinating story behind it. It’s pretty simple really...My life runs off of coffee, dry shampoo, a good pair of boots and a dash of mascara.

When you spend your days on construction sites and chasing, feeding or sorting cattle your shoe options are limited and good old fashioned Muck Boots do the trick! Thus, the “Muck Boots” portion.

As for “Mascara”, well I may be a bit of a tomboy where I spend my days covered in dirt and cow poop but I do love a good mascara. I have always felt that even if I don’t put on my powder or concealer that if I can dab on a little mascara I at least feel somewhat put together for the day ha.
